Collection Driver

Location:

Full time - Monday to Friday, 8-4

Rate of pay:
£10.90 per hour

About us:

Our Trading company opened its first shop in 2010 on Rugby high street.

Since then, we have grown from strength to strength and now have over 55 shops ranging from boutiques, concessions, home stores and superstores.

We have a successful online trading department selling through Amazon, EBAY and its own web shop selling bespoke homeware. We also have our own in-house recycling department with over 100 collection bins, and door to door collections.

Job Purpose


To ensure the safe and timely transportation of stock to and from surrounding shops and customer addresses, exceed customer expectations, and provide the highest quality service.

Responsible for driving a van and liaising with the Warehouse Manager to collect stock from clothing banks, kerbside, and RAG from retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the company van ensuring maintenance and servicing is carried out daily.
  • Plan and organise the collection and delivery of stock and work out optimal routes.
- to the shop or customer address.

  • Record key data including street and household data and weights of bags per day.
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service, productivity and efficiency at all stages of delivery and collection.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and regularly serviced as per policy and procedure documents.
  • Ensure all security, health and safety policies and procedures and trading standard regulations are always adhered to.
