Your Mission: As the Area Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and developing relationships across a defined geographical area. The focus will be on roofing merchants, specialist distribution, roofing contractors, house builders, and local developers. Don't worry if you're not a flat-roofing expert - while it's desirable, it's not a essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop relationships with various stakeholders in the roofing industry
  • Meet and exceed targets set by Divisional Management
  • Create and manage opportunities/pricing using CRM effectively
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure sales activities align with business needs
  • Support Pitched TSM with quotations, surveys, pricing, and supply chain on specified opportunities
  • Manage quality complaints effectively
What They're Looking For:
  • Experience in account management and development
  • Commercially astute with proven negotiation and relationship management skills
  • PC literate with knowledge of CRM, C4C, Microsoft Office/Google G Suite
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience with rebate structures, P&L responsibility, and pricing
  • Comfortable with safe working at heights and using ladders if necessary
  • Full UK Driving Licence/DBS Compliant
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, particularly flat and pitched roofing
  • Good product knowledge of the full product range, processes, and administration
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes contributing to project quality
Work Structure: Expect 3-4 days a week on the road, making connections and driving sales. Dedicate 1-2 days a week to admin tasks, ensuring your strategies are as effective as possible.
