Clarian Hope is a small family run business providing care for adults with learning difficulties within your local community. We currently have two homes which are situated in Brynoch Neath and Cwmavon Port Talbot.

Package Description

Support worker - £10.90 per hour

You do not need to have previous care experience to work for Clarian Hope. Nor do you need qualifications. We provide all our staff with the relevant training required, giving them a great knowledge of the role.

We are looking for new staff to join our already amazing team. The people will need to be committed to making a positive impact and support each individual to help them lead a happy and healthy life

Main Responsibilities
To assist service users with their daily activities in co ordination with their care plans.

Principle duties may include, but at not limited to the following (duties vary to each service users needs):

  • General Housekeeping e.g. Cooking, cleaning, visit family, shopping, etc
  • Providing assistance with all aspects of personal care
  • Facilitating social activities e.g. Visiting family/friends, walks, cinema, dance class, meals out etc
  • Monitoring progress and recording notes on a daily basis on service users progress
  • To create opportunities for Service Users to develop, establish and maintain personal relationships and social networks, which encourage greater participation and integration in their chosen communities.
  • Working within a budget
  • To carry out duties as the Service manager reasonably stipulates

Qualifications
  • We support all our staff in completing their QCF qualifications


Induction period
  • Staff will be given time to work alongside experienced staff members
  • Staff uniform staff will be provided with 2 work polo tops on starting the job
  • Mileage repayments 35p per mile


You will be required to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis including days, evenings, weekends, wakeful nights, public holidays and sleep in duties.
