Day to Day

  • Ensure all work in the team is effectively planned and executed ensuring optimum use of resources and timely delivery to internal and external customers alike

Role Responsibilities

  • Managing the creation of an effective and robust resource plan across the Dispatch teams against agreed demand profiles and shift patterns
  • Ensuring continued competence of resources through targeted training programmes
  • Operational process reviews to ensure they are updated accurately and communicated via the current training platform (maintaining version control documentation)
  • Providing key expertise for specific work types where central coordination is required to unlock efficiencies in other processes and teams
  • Representing Cadent at industry forums sharing best practice and chairing working groups to improve current processes
  • Wider engagement and communication, both internally and externally, with key stakeholders across the company and the broader industry
  • Working with third party companies to guarantee accuracy of invoices sent and to support a good working relationship
  • Management of specific elements of work and resourcing in line with legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring and promoting compliance with Cadent policies, standards and procedures with accountability for effective resolution of any noncompliances identified, including supporting any reviews and investigations as required
  • Creating and embedding a customerfocused culture
  • Understanding, communicating and championing the overall strategy for the department
