We are looking for a Horticultural Wellbeing Coordinator to lead our 'Green Spaces' project, a service designed to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable adults through gardening and being outside in nature.


The Coordinator will recruit and support volunteers who are experiencing poor mental health or other long-term conditions and will empower them to learn and develop gardening skills, access further opportunities in volunteering, training or employment and to be part of a team within their local community.

You will be proactive in identifying spaces in the town to develop and improve and will build relationships with local organisations to recruit volunteers.


Ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting adults and improving health and wellbeing, this role requires someone who has experience of working with a diverse range of people as well as an interest in gardening/landscaping.

You will be conscientious and able to work independently as well as being able to collect data, complete monitoring and conduct risk assessments.


Salary:
Up to £25,500.00 per year
