Reporting to our Depot Manager, you will assist in the day to day operation of our busy Aberdeen depot. Experience in a similar environment is desirable, although not essential as training will be given where required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in the logistics industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Route all C&D freight ensuring customer service levels are met
  • General Traffic office Duties as required
  • Supervise the arrival and departure of all drivers including agency personnel
  • Check in/out all freight including opening/closing curtains and scanning in/out freight
  • Ensure that oversize freight and revenue are captured per the relevant processes
  • Ensure goods stored in warehouse are in appropriate bays
  • Carry out regular bay checks
  • Update online systems as required
  • Communicate with and support Customer Services Team as required
  • Comply with any special customer requirements as advised
  • Assist with supervision of drivers
  • Close down on deliveries completed by depot and subcontractors

Job Types:

Salary:
£11.00 per hour
