No two days will be the same and each new shift will present you with inspiring opportunities to help you grow both professionally and personally whilst having a positive impact on the lives of those you support and their families.
Driving license is preferable, but not essential. The supported living homes are commutable from Redditch, Droitwich, Rubery or Rednal.What shifts are available?
- 37.5hrs a week five shifts a week and working hours will be between 7.30am and 9pm (two shift patterns available: 7.30am 3pm / 2.30pm 9pm)
- 22.5hrs a week two shifts a week consisting of one long day and one short day, it will include an ad hoc sleep in shift
- rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about
What will I be doing?
- proactively empowering and encouraging people to live as independently as possible; helping them to achieve goals, support in hobbies and try/experience new things, whilst helping to accomplish the smallest of daily tasks
- building the trustworthy relationships and supporting to achieve their goals
- maintaining a healthy diet and supporting with regular physical activities
- presenting bespoke, attentive prompting and personal care support as/when required
- supporting with life skills and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, food shopping and laundry
