IBMG has over 180 branches extending from Penzance to Margate, generating revenues in excess of £650 million and are supported by over 2,200 colleagues.
Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch Assistant to join our team at Taunton.
The Role
We are looking for a Branch Assistant in our
Taunton branch.
This position would be ideal for anyone who is currently or has recently worked in a similar sales environment ideally.
Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers and focus on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty.
Consistently generate profitable sales for the branch, via the telephone and at the trade counter by effectively using a range of techniques and resources
Manage customer queries in relation to invoices, orders or stock.
Understand the customer cycle by proactively targeting new customers and developing them into consistent live trading accounts.
Be flexible to carry out various tasks and activities to support the effective running of the branch including being in the stores, telesales and trade counter sales.
Supporting in other areas of the branch as required.
The Requirements
- Experience of working within a trade counter.
- To be customer centric with a customer service/retail/store background.
- To demonstrate proactive sales via phone and facetoface.
- To have had experience of working in a fastpaced role, whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail.
- A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure.
- An ability to recognise sales opportunities.
- An ability to embrace change and new technologies.
The Hours
Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 Saturdays on a Rota 08:00-12:00
