As a Software Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts of our software products, ensuring their quality and reliability before release. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, develop test plans, execute test cases, and report on test results. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the testing efforts for our software products, including defining testing strategies, developing test plans, and executing test cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency.
  • Manage and prioritize testing tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
  • Identify and report defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders, including project managers, product owners, and development teams.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Test Lead or similar role, with a minimum of X years in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
  • ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
