Credit Control Officer
A part-time permanent Credit Control Officer role is available with MIND Professionals, a Cambridgeshire based mental health service.

Our Company:

Mind Professionals operates three service areas:

MIND Recruitment:

Aims to serve career mental health professionals as well as Healthcare Provider Service employers, with permanent and temporary staffing resource requirements.


MIND Experts:

Delivers Expert Witness & Specialist Assessment Services to support the Legal Profession and Public Sector, Corporate Clients, and Insurance Services, as well as Private Individuals throughout the UK.


MIND Therapies:

CQC Registered Specialists bringing together Service Providers and Health Professionals deploying assessment and treatment services for those affected by Neurodevelopmental Conditions - Autism and ADHD; Mental Disorder, Learning or Neurological Disability.


Location:
Stow-Cum-Quy, Cambridge. Our premises are based a short distance from Cambridge with good public transport links.

Contract:
Permanent, 2 days per week.

08:30-17:00.

Salary:
£21,500 Pro-rata. Negotiable, depending on experience.

About the Role:

The role is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining the credit and collections process for MIND Professionals.

You will carry out credit credits, set credit limits, monitor outstanding invoices, and ensure that payments are collected in a timely manner.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Creating monthly aged debtor/credit reports.
  • Escalation of disputed debts to disputes are resolved promptly.
  • Maintaining up to date records relating to outstanding debt, detailing actions taken and to be taken.
  • Taking legal action to recover unpaid debts when required.
  • Sending invoices and statements as required by customers.
Other key accountabilities will be but are not limited to:

  • Dealing with external and internal accounts queries.
  • Bank online payments and cash management
  • Invoice payments
  • Posting and allocating customer receipts.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

  • Computer literacy, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills and the ability to build working relationships at all levels.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Customer service skills.
  • The ability to work effectively unsupervised.
  • The ability to multitask responsibilities and to work autonomously.
  • A driven and selfmotivated attitude.
  • An ability to work to deadlines.Desirable
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts Professional
  • Good working knowledge for Excel including pivot tables.
  • Experience in a previous accounts or credit controller role.

Qualifications:

  • You will have GCSE (including English and Maths) or higher qualifications
The company offer a Group Pension Scheme, 22 days of holidays and bank holidays.
