Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Purchasing and Stock Administrator to join our client in Barnsley to perform all aspects of purchasing for the company and to manage the inventory, distribution and control of the business.

The Administrator mustidentify the products that are to be purchased, identify the most appropriate supplier for the products, confirm all aspects of pricing, confirm all deliveries and maintain an inventory control database.


The role would suit a Purchasing Administrator, a Inventory Administrator, a Buyer or a Stock Controller or similar, looking for a new challenge.


Main responsibilities:

  • Creating Purchase Orders for materials and expediting.
  • Provide operational support in terms of production, scheduling and purchasing forecasts.
  • To conduct administrative duties in support of supplier contract maintenance.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers in regards to their orders.
  • Tracking Orders and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Updating internal database with Order details
  • Maintaining and updating inventory records
  • Checking stock levels and ordering new stock when necessary
  • Reporting any stock discrepancies
  • Analysing inventory trends for future stock orders
  • Any administrative task that may need to be carried out

Required skills and Experience;

  • A minimum of 3 years within a similar role
  • Experience within stock control / inventory
  • Fantastic administration experience
  • Experience dealing directly with customers and suppliers
  • Able to build fantastic business relationships.
