We are looking for a Deputy Head of Systems to manage the Systems Operational Team working in partnership with Sainsburys.

Job Overview

  • To deliver the security and risk strategy across the Sainsbury's customer portfolio through the whole Systems team
  • Working directly with the Head of Operations
  • To ensure the strategic benefits for the estate are realised daily
  • Ensure success through effective client engagement, compliance and implementation of best practise and motivation
  • To develop and nurture the client relationship at an operational level, by ensuring an exceptional and consistent service is delivered
  • Managing the Systems Operations Team
  • Work collaboratively with all the Systems team Including Mitec ARC & Remote team
  • Ensure all colleagues are deployed in working environments with a safetyfirst culture
  • Working with the Head of Operations
  • By Managing the Systems ensuring the strategic programme for the national portfolio is delivered through compliance and continuous improvement of operational practices

Main Duties
To deliver results for their identified area that meets or exceeds the budget and service delivery requirements through full responsibility and accountability for:

  • Ensure that all legal requirements and company HSE procedures are applied to provide a safe environment and consistent service for all employees, clients, and customers
  • Create and maintain all risk assessments for the portfolio. Review on an annual basis to ensure they are up to date and new processes are reflected
  • Review all incidents and implement any improvements where applicable
  • Understand client requirements to ensure service is delivered as agreed
  • Foster a partnership approach with client to develop the service and deliver the overall account strategy
  • Manage and maintain the customer relationship of the account, ensuring that all meetings and reviews achieve positive outcomes
  • Work with the client to implement their vision with innovative and transformative ideas supporting their roadmap
  • In conjunction with the Employee Operations Partners ensure that all employee nonchargeable costs are controlled (where legal and appropriate). This includes but is not limited to suspension, sickness, pay versus actual, guaranteed hours, training, recruitment, and subcontractors
  • Proactively manage the successful mobilisation of new contracts and any subsequent change programmes
  • Ensure the Training Matrix is accurate against the award of contract and new business form
  • Ensure all actions from the period reviews are concluded within agreed timescales
  • To ensure our client's risk agenda is supported
  • To work collaboratively with the intelligence and technical teams, in partnership to ensure all risk data is maintained to GDPR standards
  • To interrogate CRM tools and systems to deliver reporting that maximises the capabilities of the whole team
  • Ensuring SLA's are measured and delivered as per the contract
  • Responsible for the daytoday management of the dedicated Sainsbury's Operations team

About You

  • Significant experience in a similar environment and level for a minimum of 3 years
  • Excellent client relationship management and influencing skills
  • Ability to provide challenge and support in a constructive way to influence, establish trust and seek constructive outcomes across all levels
  • Effective team player and leader with strong communication skills with an ability to adapt their communication style to meet the needs of different people groups
  • Ability to work in a fastmoving services business
  • Strong capability in the use of technology to manage and deliver reporting using Excel and BI dashboards
