An opportunity has arisen for an Evening Shift Team Leader to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team.

Reporting to the Assistant Warehouse Manager, this role will have responsibility for the following but not limited to:

People Management

  • Manage the picking operations
  • Ensure picking accuracy and efficiency
  • Assisting with coordination of unloading and put away of daily replenishment stock
  • Coordinating van loading
  • Implementing continuous improvement ideas with warehouse staff
  • Assisting in leading team meetings and briefings

Warehouse

  • Picking and preparation of orders for despatch
  • Processing customer orders
  • Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
  • Liaising with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
  • Ensuring service standards are maintained, work processes are followed, and are continually monitored to be improved
  • Communicating issues for handover to the Day team

General

  • Working in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Any other reasonable tasks as required

Person Specification

  • Flexi forklift licence desired but not essential
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work unsupervised, and plan own workload
  • Computer literate

Hours
Shift: 3pm-11.30pm
