Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cafe Assistant to join our team.

As a Cafe Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the cafe, and providing excellent customer service.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering high-quality food and beverages.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling sandwiches, and brewing coffee
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafe, including wiping down surfaces, sanitizing equipment, and restocking supplies
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, handling payments, and addressing customer inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
  • Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
  • Help create a welcoming atmosphere for customers by maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment

Qualifications:

  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Salary:
£11.44-£14.50 per hour
