Lgbt+ Counselling Co-ordinator

In this key role you will have nonclinical operational responsibility for the coordination, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of elop's counselling service.

You will provide leadership, direction, line-management support, and supervision to staff, student trainees, interns, and volunteer working within the counselling service.

You will have and oversee direct contact with service users and will be involved in ensuring a safe service is provided including supporting referrals to internal and external services.

You will work as part of the core operational staff team, taking responsibility for the referral, intake, allocation, and administration of services and will be key to ensuring that those using our services are responded to promptly and with respect and dignity.

You will work with the Director of Mental Health Services to actively contribute to the organisation's strategic objectives, sustainability strategy and supporting the service delivery strategy.

You will network with relevant community, statutory and voluntary stakeholders to ensure LGBT+ needs & concerns are recognised and addressed, and to promote and advance the overall ethos, services, and activities of elop.
