Job Title: Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
Company: Harrogate-based FMCG manufacturer
Key Benefits:

Role: The selected candidate will ensure a safe working environment, compliance with legal requirements, and foster safety culture within the facility. Collaborating with all site teams is essential to maintain health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer guidance, assistance, and challenge on EHS matters
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and conduct HSE audits
- Develop safety engagement culture and communicate achievements
- Supervise COSHH manual management and ensure data compliance
- Perform EHS inspections and audits for improvement opportunities
- Assist in accident investigations and provide prevention recommendations
- Review and align policies, procedures, and documentation with management systems
- Maintain EHS records, including ISO 14001 standards compliance
- Coordinate with the Health & Safety Network to ensure policy adherence
- Create and deliver EHS training programs
Key Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Substantial experience in a plant/production environment, preferably in FMCG
- Familiarity with EHS law and best practices
- Recognized H&S qualification such as NEBOSH
- Proficiency in ISO 14001 and relevant standards
- Expertise in Waste Management
- Strong training identification and delivery abilities
