An exciting opportunity to join a growing, premium maintenance business in Fulham (SW6).

We are a family-owned and run maintenance company looking to expand our office team. This is very much a "people person" role. It is important that you enjoy interaction with clients on the phone and show organisational skills in scheduling the right operative for the right job in the right place at the right time. You must also relish problem-solving situations in order to provide the best possible service to our clients. While many businesses are now entirely online, we appeal to the many customers who still prefer to communicate directly with real people. You would be working in a small, friendly and hard-working office where teamwork is paramount.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Handle ongoing enquiries from clients regarding their bookings, as well as aftersales service**
  • Liaise with tradesmen and suppliers, providing backup and support

- Office admin duties including collecting and reconciling payments

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent and friendly telephone manner & direct customer service experience**
  • Trade background is preferable in order to pick up the role quickly

- The ability to navigate and populate our in-house database

- Some interest in/knowledge of DIY as this will facilitate the estimating of job types and durations

- Detail-orientated - we are a premium service aiming to provide a better and more personal service than our internet-based competitors. Your role is crucial to this differentiation

- The ability to think on your feet without getting flustered when circumstances dictate

HOURS:

  • 5 days per week**
    Possible requirement to work some Saturdays either in addition or in lieu, by prior arrangement

- Shifts a mixture of 8am/8:30am/9am starts

SALARY:

  • Dependent upon experience and agreed working hours**
    28 days paid holiday
