Duties:

  • Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
  • Maintain and update office records and databases
  • Assist with data entry and document management
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including arranging logistics and preparing materials
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to staff members

Qualifications:

  • We require a minimum of GCSE level C in English and Maths and a clean DBS record, which will be checked with the DBS barring service.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role ideally with funeral experience
  • Strong clerical skills, including typing, data entry, and filing
  • Proficient in using computerized systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • This is a role that requires sensitivity and will involve minor interaction with the deceased. Like all medical professions client confidentially and the respect of a persons privacy is absolute.
