Family Support Worker

The role is initially funded for one year. Possible extension depending on funding.


Home-Start Falkirk is a Voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age.


Our Volunteers offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families in their own homes, helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.


We are looking for an enthusiastic Part - time Family Support Worker to deliver a range of targeted supports to families with young children and babies that are experiencing challenges in their everyday lives.


  • A good standard of education
  • Experience of caring for young children
  • Experience of working with families
  • Ability to work as part of a team with supervisory support
  • Understand confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace
  • Car driver/owner (expenses will be paid)
  • Experience of working with vulnerable groups and ensuring safeguarding practice is embedded and adhered to
Interviews will be held in mid March.
