Who We're Looking For:

Makersite is seeking a passionate and driven Junior Marketing Associate to join our dynamic marketing team. This is hybrid position, based in Bristol or within easy travelling distance to Bristol.

As a Junior Marketing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing managers in executing strategic marketing initiatives across multiple channels.

This role will involve a wide range of operational activities, including content creation, social media management, event coordination and web development to name a few.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing managers to develop highquality blog posts, articles, and other written content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of social media campaigns across various platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Support marketing managers in planning and coordinating events, including webinars, trade shows, and conferences, to promote our product and engage with potential new logos.
  • Contribute to graphic design projects, including the creation of visual assets for digital and print materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of website content, optimizing user experience and SEO performance.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in the sustainability sector, researching to identify new opportunities for marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including sales, product management, and customer success, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding efforts.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, demonstrating a proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, effectively managing conflicting priorities and deadlines.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in marketing or related roles, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and proficiency in Adobe Suite, Canva or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS and WordPress.
  • Passion for sustainability and how technology can contribute to a positive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a rapidly evolving and fastpaced environment.
  • Eye for good design and attention to detail.
