Known for the development of revolutionary technologies, Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) designs, develops and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings.
We now have an exciting opportunity in our growing Clinical Affairs function for a Clinical Project Lead.
The Clinical Project Lead is responsible for leading projects and project teams within the Clinical Affairs Group and ensuring that appropriate clinical support is provided for R&D, Worldwide Marketing, Operations, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs across our Diabetes Care product portfolio.
In this role, you will contribute to an overall strategic plan for the delivery of studies utilising internal and external resources, supports the operational execution of clinical studies to assess new or modified Abbott Diabetes Care and competitor product, and liaise with clinicians & CROs, KOLS and other external and internal customers to ensure that the Clinical Affairs organisation delivers projects which meet business needs.
Day to day, you will find yourself leading project teams in the planning, delivery and close out of trials - your focus will be the key milestones and stakeholder management, and you will act as the point of contact for internal queries and updates, issue resolution, financial reconciliation, and project timeline tracking.
To be successful, you will ideally be qualified in a Life Sciences field degree, however consideration will be given to those with a strong work based background underpinned by other educational fields/levels.
You will preferably bring experience of working in a Medical Device/IVD environment, although a Pharmaceutical background may also be considered.
You should be excited about working in a fast-paced environment within a hard-working and welcoming team, and will be keen to further develop your exposure of Clinical Project Management within the medical devices sector, bringing prior project management or study lead experience.
