The postholder will promote quality improvement across the organisation building a social movement and within the ICS as a partner.

With a focus on reducing variation in practice and inequalities in service delivery you will lead and deliver this through well designed multi professionally led interventions.

The postholder will focus improvement activity on four key aims which enhance patient experience, improve population health, reduce costs, and improve the work life of health care providers.


In collaboration with Quality Improvement, Organisational Development and Patient Safety partners the Head of QI will be responsible for promoting, developing, and delivering an improvement capacity and capability building strategy for the Nottinghamshire ICS.The role will also be expected to partner and work closely with Patient Safety, Quality Assurance functions Associate Directors of Nursing and AHPs, Psychological Professions and Clinical Directors, Deputy Divisional Directors and have an active collaborative relationship with the clinical divisions.
