The hours are approx hours per week working between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

If you are you a competent Accounts person, with experience in day-to-day accounting and would like a part time opportunity this would be a perfect opportunity for you.
The salary is negotiable, will of course depend on experience

Duties and responsibilities for the Bookkeeper role include:

  • Recording financial transactions on a day-to-day basis,
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month end sales and purchase ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with month end reporting, including P&L, BS, TB
  • Posting monthly journals (payroll, accruals, prepayments, etc)
  • Producing records up to trial balance;
  • Some involvement in supporting other team members with queries / training

Skills and experience required for the Bookkeeper role are:

  • Proven work experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Sage would be ideal and strong Excel skills
  • Experience of month end process'
  • The ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members
