Full-Time Position - 10 Sessions Per Week

Salary: Specialty Doctor

This full-time role is based at the Countess of Chester Hospital and Ellesmere Port Hospital. The job plan includes 10 Programmed Activities. Additional PAs may be available, subject to agreement and service needs. The post involves supporting the Medicine Registrar on-call Rota.

The successful candidate will work with four other specialty doctors in a rotational post, moving through different units within the elderly care department. They will assist Elderly Medicine Consultants in patient care and departmental activities, with a focus on career development opportunities.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Assessment of new patients
  • Monitoring complex medical issues
  • Planning and implementing medical treatment
  • Supporting consultant ward rounds
  • Providing cross cover
  • Participating in the registrar GIM Rota

The role comes with office space, computer access, and secretarial support.
