Used Car Sales Controller - Independent Dealership Morley, West Yorkshire £42,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Controller to take the reins of their sales team at a reputable Used Car Dealership located in Leeds.

The company offers a diverse range of vehicles catering to all customer preferences, ensuring sales opportunities across the market.

This role presents an exciting chance to collaborate in a supportive setting alongside top-notch colleagues, with access to a wide selection of car brands, makes, and models.

This position is ideal for an ambitious Business Manager or Transaction Manager aspiring to advance into a more senior capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet key performance indicators.
  • Maintain a well-managed dealership, oversee Retail Centre presentation, and foster strong team relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments, actively participate in day-to-day operations, and drive high sales and service standards.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven sales track record in the Automotive Industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to inspire the team, and achieve exceptional results.
  • Prior experience in team supervision, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient computer skills, effective communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a customer-centric and commercially driven mindset.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Set challenging objectives for the sales team, provide regular performance feedback, and ensure adequate resources for day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain positive relationships, enforce compliance, and uphold high customer experience and manufacturer standards.
  • Drive the team towards achieving manufacturer targets and encourage process improvements.
  • Promote innovation, inspire exceptional customer experiences, and optimize sales activities.

Working Pattern:

Varied schedule including weekends and weekdays, typically involving 4-5 long days per week based on a rotational basis.

Pay and Benefits:

Base salary of £42,000 plus additional company perks and competitive incentives, with advancement potential to a salary of £49k upon reaching the Senior Sales Controller role.
