Receptionist and Facilities Assistant

The Receptionist and Facilities Assistant supports the Facilities Manager with the day-to-day maintenance of sites in the Aerial Group.

The role is split between front of house reception work, light maintenance, procurement and administrative duties.

Being a strong support to the Facilities Manager and helping to manage Facilities in their absence
Manage the purchasing and procurement of office stationery, merchandise and consumables with a focus on cost saving, quality, and environmental impact and manage stock levels
Support with managing and liaising with contractors, and organising call-outs as necessary.
Manage existing supplier relationships, identifying potential cost savings, monitoring SLAs and raising complaints as necessary
Undertake scheduled checks of onsite first aid and fire safety equipment, including weekly fire alarm tests and reporting issues as applicable
Manage Aerial Direct's Facilities intranet page
Reporting on contractor call-outs, reactive maintenance expenses, purchasing expenditures, energy usage
Manage legislative training, working alongside the L&D partners. · Support Aerial Direct's Social Committee, it's intranet page and social events
Act as a First Aider and Fire Warden should the matters arise.
Support the Facilities Dept and other Operational activities to ensure its ongoing maintenance adhoc
Qualification as a First Aider and Fire Warden
