Hiring: Systems Accountant at Castle Donington

Are you ready to take on the challenge of being the brains behind financial systems and integration projects? The Systems Accountant position calls for someone proactive, technically savvy, and experienced at managing stakeholders. As the Systems Accountant, you'll lead the development of financial systems and play a pivotal role in integrating a new ERP solution. Partner up with top-tier leaders to streamline workflows, improve reporting functionalities, and support an ambitious Better Data Project.

About the Role:

As a Systems Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and enhancing the current financial system (Hyperion) and integrating it into the new ERP solution (Infor LN).
  • Improving workflows and reporting functionalities within Hyperion.
  • Leading data cleansing exercises to enhance auditing and archiving processes.
  • Building a more efficient month-end process for the finance teams.
  • Creating and maintaining process documents and providing regular training and workshops.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for finance systems and supporting the finance systems strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting financial projects, including the upgrade or replacement of the Hyperion system.
  • Liaising regularly with IT Business Systems Managers.
  • Enhancing systems related to the month-end management account process and budget.
  • Managing ad hoc projects supporting the CEO, CFO, and Group FC.
  • Documenting all finance IT systems processes and providing user training where applicable.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACCA or CIMA qualification (desirable).
  • Proven experience in systems implementations and working with Hyperion systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and manufacturing accounting.
  • A track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
