CNC Machinist - Integrex

Salary: £15.99 to £19.37 per hour (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

About the Company and Job Title:

This is an opportunity to join our team as a CNC Machinist - Integrex. We are looking for a skilled professional to ensure the best manufacturing techniques are applied within our Integrex Machine Shop. Your main responsibilities will involve programming, setting, and operating machines, as well as striving for continuous improvement.

What does the job involve?

  • Programming, setting, and operating machines within the cell
  • Ensuring cost-effective quality products are achieved
  • Monitoring the manufacturing process for quality control
  • Pursuing improved methods and standards
  • Maintaining safety, housekeeping, and maintenance schedules
  • Recording and updating manufacturing processes
  • Backing up CNC programs regularly

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Right to live and work in the UK (Essential)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Mill-Turn work centres
  • Wide-ranging manufacturing process knowledge
  • Experience working to engineering drawings or job cards
  • Knowledge of machining various components
  • Ability to program, set, and operate machine tools
  • Interpretation of technical drawings and geometric dimensions
  • Experience with Mazak controls, Integrex models, and large components
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety
  • CNC programming and basic computer skills

What qualifications should I have?

  • Basic O' Level / GCSE Qualifications, technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ)
  • Completed a recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
  • Security Clearance (Desirable)
