A key contributor to the design and delivery of frameworks, tools and processes to support our leaders and managers with talent assessment and development planning in order to maximise the potential of all staff across the organisation.

Evaluating emerging themes from these activities to identify and implement continual improvement.

Job description:

Talent Management

  • Working closely with the Talent Development lead you will support the development, pilot and rollout of varied talent strategies to address specific needs, such as the design and delivery of a succession planning framework, and the creation of wider talent programmes across UKRI.
Performance Management

  • Supporting the Performance lead as needed on key areas of the annual performance management cycle
People Management Support

  • Work closely with colleagues in L&D, HR operations and HRBPs to ensure that line managers are trained, equipped and supported to utilise talent approaches in a high quality and consistent way. Ensure all changes to processes and ways of working are fully incorporated into other HR products, calendars and tools
Data Analysis & MI

  • Deliver effective approaches to provide data, themes and issues from talent management and succession planning activities into organisational level planning
Project Management

  • Manage a range of talent management projects, ensuring that all initiatives are prioritised and delivered with impact and pace, following recognised portfolio, programme and project management methods.

Person specification:

Essential

  • Knowledge and experience of successfully developing and implementing talent management strategies in a complex organisational environment.
  • Experience of influencing development of approaches through horizon scanning, collaboration, innovating and pragmatically shaping evolving solutions
  • Experience of driving diversity and inclusion throughout all talent management and development programmes
  • Experience in using data and analytics to bring new insight and impact
