What will I be doing?

We are recruiting for a Finance intern to join our UK team at Universal Pictures International which is the international theatrical division of NBC Universal. Our office is based in Central London and is responsible for the release strategy, marketing, publicity and delivery to exhibition of film for Universal Studios, Focus Features and other third parties in the UK. The Finance intern role will work across FP&A and key responsibilities include:

Taking ownership of designated reporting including forecasting costs and revenues of films, ensuring up to date and accurate information is available to the relevant team in a timely manner Conduct commercial analysis and create KPI dashboards to evaluate Film Box Office performance, that will be used to inform business decisions. Supporting the team with month and quarter end tasks as required as well as ad hoc project work Liaising with international finance / non-finance departments, including senior stakeholders and providing financial system support in the Purchase to pay process

What do I need to bring to the role?

A willingness to learn, "can-do" attitude and keen interest in the film industry Enthusiasm and adaptability to be a team player who takes initiative and can work both collaboratively as well as independently Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure Basic Excel & PowerPoint skills
