Job Title Evening Tram Litter Picker

Position reports to Supervisor and Business Manager

Based out of Croydon Tram Link Depot

Hours of work:
Mon - Fri 6pm to 10pm

Additional Hours Sat or Sun 9am - 5pm

JOB PURPOSE
To provide a high standard of cleaning duties, and related maintenance duties in a safe and controlled environment as directed by the Contracts Supervisor & Business
Manager at locations as directed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To carry out the following duties in accordance with the contract specifications or as directed by the Supervisor, and Business Manager:

  • To provide Tram Cleaning including cleaning and maintenance duties as requested by the Business Manager.
  • Remove graffiti using specialist graffiti removal chemicals undertaking all duties with due regards to Health & Safety legislation and Company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that the Graffiti Solutions personal protective equipment is worn and used at all times during work hours and maintained in a clean condition.
  • Assemble equipment as necessary and check, clean and store machinery safely after use and report any defects to the Supervisor/ Business Manager.
  • Report any accident, incident or unusual occurrence, obtaining names and addresses of any witness, members of staff or public involved, relaying to the
Business Manager in accordance with Company procedures.

  • Attend staff meetings and training courses as directed by the
Supervisor/Business Manager.

  • Provide cover for short term absences of colleagues or at weekends.
  • To promote and comply with Graffiti Solutions policies and procedures.
  • To respond to environmental emergencies, eg snow clearing, grit laying and spillage clearing.

  • Accurate completion of daily work report sheets, with the use of digital photography as evidence of work completed if required.

The Evening Tram Litter Picker may also carry out such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.
