As the public face of our properties, you'll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

, 750 per year**:This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the year


What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you'll be part of a vibrant team working at Castle Drogo in the Visitor Centre.

750 hours worked within contract period, you'll work more hours during our busier periods such as school holidays and less in our quieter months covering a 7-day rota.

Rotas are issued in advance, and we'll always try to accommodate other commitments where possible.

Day to day, you'll deliver a great all-round customer service experience.

You'll be on hand answering queries and listening to what our visitors need so you can share the right information.

Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can.


You'll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience working closely with the Visitor Experience team and other property teams.

Day to day tasks include rotated hours at Welcome greeting visitors, selling memberships, daily checks in looking after car park machines and processing entry (including cash handling and PDQs).

You will also have the opportunity to support Iby the hiring of the tramper. You will be responsible supporting our garden team by closing the gardens at the end of the day.
