Commercial Services Group is recruiting for a Schools Application Support Officer on behalf of Cantium Business Solutions, which is part of Commercial Services Group.

The Role
Do you currently work in a school with SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom as your Management Information System or, are you IT-savvy with a passion for Customer Service? If so, we'd like to hear from you


As a Schools Application Support Officer, you will provide technical support to our Education Customers, taking into account their issues and guiding them to resolution.


Although experience with SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom is desirable, we would still consider applicants without, if you are keen to learn technical skills and passionate about the role.

Key Duties:

  • Provide technical support to our customers remotely
  • Communicate with other departments to provide accurate responses to our customers, this could be modifying systems and developing technical work arounds for our customers to resolve their issue
  • Document all actions taken to resolution
  • Carry out investigations to system failures and determining the appropriate actions to take to ensure the same issue doesn't happen again

What we need from you

  • Experience working in an IT or Customer Service environment
  • A fast learner that what's to develop existing skills
  • A strong interest in IT which is proven in previous roles/responsibilities in the work place
  • Experienced in supporting SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom is desirable
