**Job Title:** Senior Quantity Surveyor (Passive Fire) - Exciting Opportunity in West Yorkshire (Hybrid Working)**Company:** Established in 1989, our client is the UK's leading specialist in passive fire protection. They offer a wide range of accredited survey, installation, and compliance services to both public and private sector organizations nationwide.

Joining the team, you will collaborate with the Commercial Manager, assisting in various aspects of project management. Your role will involve handling commercial, financial, and contractual tasks to ensure high-level financial performance and legal compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Providing pre-tender contract and pricing support
  • Offering post-tender contractual advice, support, and escalation
  • Managing contract budgets and monitoring progress on-site
  • Establishing relationships with client counterparts
  • Controlling variations, valuing, and reaching agreements
  • Compiling interim and final accounts
  • Resolving final account disputes
  • Supporting debt management processes
  • Handling month-end invoicing and applications
  • Reporting forecasts and CVRs (Cost-Value Reconciliations)
  • Managing non-labour subcontractors
  • Assisting with pricing for divisions and tenders
  • Managing price lists and negotiating with suppliers
  • Procuring from suppliers for high-value purchases
  • Enforcing payment terms

Experience Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project QS
  • Preferably holds a BSc degree or HNC in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or Construction
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Proficient in MS Office and confident in IT skills
  • Experience in pricing tenders
