An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join our customers' onsite operations based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25).

The Resident Support Technician will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for:
Carry out MHE equipment servicing in accordance to the quality standards as set out in the equipment manuals
To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
To undertake repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC
To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
To ensure quality of output at all times
To accurately record all work undertaken
Maintain product flow at all times
Involvement in continuous improvement activities
To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations
To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company
To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels

Knowledge & Experience Required/Desired:
ONC/HNC or Full B-Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals and drawings
Basic understanding of control systems and techniques
Proficient experience in Engineering and Maintenance
Effective time management
Good customer relations
Ability to work solo and as part of a team
Able to engage with the customer
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions
Understanding business and customer needs
Able to operate effectively within a rotating shift pattern
Ability to learn and retain technical information
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions
Have a logical approach to fault finding and resolution
Operate within a designed structure of pre-planned maintenance

The hours of work are 6am till 6pm and 6pm till 6am covering Mon-Sun – Shift Pattern to be confirmed.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician or Similar.
