An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Women's Health Division for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and vibrant individual to join our management team.

We are looking for a full time Team Leader who will support the team in the day-to-day delivery of services to ensure there is high quality patient care across the relevant subspecialties.

The role is based at University College London Hospital in 250 Euston Road.

  • Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology
  • Early Pregnancy Unit
  • 2WW
  • FGM
  • Ultrasound scanning
The Team Leader reports to the Assistant General Manager and leads and supports the administrative team as well as the following key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day service management and quality improvement of Gynaecology service with direct line management of a team of around 5 coordinators and assistant coordinators in Gynaecology
  • Accountability for the performance of the administrative staff, which includes managing clinic and theatre lists across the various subspecialties
  • Supporting the delivery of performance targets including RTT and DM01, and others as applicable
  • Using developed communication skills in order to deal with patient concerns or complaints with empathy and understanding, finding a solution that assures the patient
  • Managing and developing inpatient and outpatient pathways alongside the Assistant General Manager to ensure continuous improvement
  • Working closely with the relevant Clinical Lead(s) and Senior Nurses to provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure services continue to improve and develop

The current admin team is based within the Women's Health division. The team works flexibility within an open plan office alongside other teams within Breast and Gynaecology. This enables a supportive atmosphere both from managers and peers.
