Job Description

The rapid evolution of technology has positioned IT as a pivotal driver of success across all business functions within JDE. To leverage IT as a competitive advantage, we are revolutionizing our IT department to function as a strategic technology partner. The Global Information Services (GIS) department oversees Infrastructure, Strategy, Business Solutions and is at the forefront of this transformation.

As the Cluster IT Manager for the UK & Ireland, you will serve as the primary point of contact for engaging with local business leaders and stakeholders on all IT matters. Your role involves shaping IT demand, ensuring seamless technology integration, driving technology strategies aligned with business objectives, and managing relationships within the clusters.

Collaborate closely with market leadership teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize solutions that generate value for our markets. Partner with global IT experts and regional directors to deliver efficient business solutions that elevate organizational performance.

Not only will you play a vital role in streamlining IT operations, enhancing business growth, and ensuring effective technology utilization, but you will also actively engage with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and optimize our technology landscape.

Take ownership of ensuring that the solutions delivered are aligned with JDE business goals, global IT strategies, and architecture frameworks. Lead the management of annual budgets, drive continuous improvement, and champion the standardization and harmonization of GIS services across both clusters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between UK & Ireland business units and internal/external IT partners.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess technology needs and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Provide strategic guidance on IT investments and innovations to senior management.
  • Assess technology options, develop business cases, and align IT strategies with business goals.
  • Oversee IT systems deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure SLA performance, stakeholder alignment, and local vendor management.
  • Lead and mentor IT professionals, enforce IT policies, and security protocols.
  • Evaluate vendor solutions, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships for cost-effective procurement.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Business proficiency in English.

Experience & Requirements

  • Extensive IT and Business/Industry experience.
  • Over 3 years in an advisory role in Information Systems.
  • Strong understanding of business process management and IT-enabled solutions.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and empowering people.
