About the Role
Schools IT offer a professional and friendly "MIS support and Training" service to schools for Arbor, SIMS and ScholarPack, with direct access to a MIS Consultant. The support is provided on the telephone, remotely or on site. The Training is carried out online, at the Training Centre or at a school. You will also provide notes, training for all statutory returns. Our aim is to provide "Best use of MIS" to our schools striving to communicate and train our schools with any new developments. We also provide a consultancy service.
About You
Schools IT is part of Nottingham City Council's IT Department and it is a close knit team that provides a comprehensive range of IT service and MIS support to schools in and around the Nottingham City Area . The services the team provide are highly regarded and we have got an exciting opportunity available for someone with the right skills to join our friendly and hardworking team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- GCSEs including Maths
- Experience of providing excellent customer service over the phone and face to face and experience of carrying out training on line and face to fac
- Experience of providing excellent customer service and working with a large number of people
- Knowledge of using Arbor, SIMS and ScholarPack (Desirable but at least 1)
- Have fantastic communication skills dealing with a diverse range of people at multiple levels
- Be honest and approachable and have a positive "can do" attitude
- Self motivated with the ability to work on your own but also to strive within the team and ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise own workload
- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
