We are currently recruiting to fill the following full-time vacancy in our UK Head Office in
Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire
PR and Communications Executive
TEMPORARY For a period of up to 12 months
(Full time, office based)

You will work within our busy PR & Communications department, coordinating PR and event activities, ensuring that the Companys standard of service is met and adhered to at all times.


Main Duties:
PR and Events
Distribute and respond to media requests
Organise media lists and retailers list to effectively communicate news and assets (images, videos, invites, Seminars)
Create editorial for regional magazines
Write press releases and provide support writing and producing content
Proofread PR material for retailers and regional publications
Coordinate editorial shoots, including the selection of products and logistics between security and publications
Distribute the company magazine to selected UK media
Proactively pitch PR stories to the media, working closely with the PR Manager to generate ideas
Coordinate media events, PR Seminars and thematic exhibition events, also attending events when required
Retailers Online
Monitor retailers social media for compliancy to guidelines and to monitor activity quality and volume levels
Approve digital content for retailers, for organic social media/websites/blogs
Catalogues
Advise on appropriate visuals and proof reading documents
Admin
Manage all invoicing for Media shoots
Manage all invoicing for Events and suppliers
British School of Watchmaking (BSoW)
Support in the PR function and attend the BSoW graduation ceremony
Support media and other related requests
Skills Required
Recent experience in PR and Communications
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, and a confident telephone manner
Ability to write articles and other correspondence, possess proven literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to speak effectively and confidently with internal staff and our retail partners
Ability to read and interpret detailed documents, such as spreadsheets and invoices
Have an enthusiastic and positive personality and e ffectively manage your time and productivity whilst at work
Well rounded organisational skills and the ability to work well on your own initiative or as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage in pressured situations
Have full knowledge of products (full training will be given for product knowledge)
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is essential
SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
Must hold a valid passport and driving licence
The company receiving a Criminal Record Check (DBS) which it considers satisfactory

Hours and Benefits:
9am 5pm Monday to Friday, office based in Chalfont St Peter.
22 days annual leave (rising to 30 days with length of service) plus UK bank holidays and Christmas shutdown
