We are excited to offer a permanent job opportunity as a Contract and Review Assistant in the System and Payments team, within the Commissioning and Partnerships department.


The System and Payments team is a friendly and busy team that assists Adult Social Care and Health with the contracting and payments of residential and non-residential care services.

You will be dealing with the many and varied aspects of these functions with a focus on ensuring that information is accurately recorded on council finance systems.

In addition, you will liaise daily with other internal departments and external agencies/providers, building rapport and developing and maintaining positive working relationships to assist with progressing care services.


We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic team member to demonstrate a positive attitude with an ability to work under pressure.

You must be able to use IT effectively, preferably being able to use IT to manage information.

You will be required to manage your time and workload effectively and efficiently and be capable of working on your own initiative, as well as being part of a hard-working team.

This key role also involves dealing with queries by telephone and Microsoft Teams; therefore good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to problem solve and prioritise in a busy environment.

The team can facilitate a blended working approach (home and office).
