We are currently looking for an Instrument Engineer to join us in supporting various ongoing and upcoming projects. This position is available for both Staff and Contract roles.
Role Description:
- Work under the supervision of the E&I Manager, assisting the Instrument team in executing engineering projects for our renewables and carbon energy departments.
- Create and approve engineering deliverables and collaborate with the design team to generate technical drawings.
- Assist in preparing both technical and commercial bids and contribute to promoting Apollo's services in partnership with the business development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and verification of Instrument engineering deliverables, such as calculations, analyses, and reports, in compliance with project procedures and standards.
- Develop equipment specifications and assemble inquiry packages for Instrument equipment.
- Estimate and profile Instrument loads for projects.
- Provide estimating input for the Instrument discipline and collaborate with designers when required.
- Support project bids and take the lead on work scopes as needed.
Essential Criteria and Qualifications:
- Hold an engineering degree relevant to Instrument Engineering.
- Possess prior experience in upstream Oil and Gas Engineering.
- Thorough knowledge of international standards concerning Instrument equipment and system design, along with current legislative and industry requirements.
- Hands-on experience in Instrument system design across various small and medium projects.
- Familiarity with working through different project life cycles, including concept, FEED, and detailed design stages.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
