To be successful in this position, you will have/be;

  • Proven experience in a progressive manufacturing environmentn
  • Demonstrated management skills that ensure supply chain alignment, empowering, motivating, and inspiring confidence in othersn
  • Effective time management skills, adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasksn
  • Broad knowledge of commodities related to aerospace seat buildsn
  • Experience in negotiating and implementing legal contractsn
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processesn
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with commercial supplier organizations and negotiating with suppliersn
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, VA/VE, problem-solving tools, and components of a lean/continuous improvement work environmentn
  • Ability to present data effectively to all levels of the businessn
  • Strong commercial acumenn
  • Five years of similar supply chain experience within manufacturing, preferably aerospacen
  • Builds positive working relationships with direct reports and peer groups.n
  • Proven ability to make business decisions based on quantitative data and weigh alternative solutionsn
  • Clean and current driving license required; occasional business travel may be necessaryn
  • CIPS accreditation or relevant related degree depending on industry experience
