We are currently recruiting for a new Senior Supervisor to help us keep our hospitals clean and our patients fed.

These posts are an exciting addition to our team in Facilities.

This post is Monday to Friday, but there may be a requirement to cover occassional weekends.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

Managing a large team who are responsible for duties, including: cleaning of wards and general areas; regenerating and serving food to our patients during mealtimes; serving hot drinks and the collection of clinical and non-clinical waste

Completing relevant checklists and other paperwork related to the role

Managing staff in line with Trust policies and procedures; including absence, annual leave and performance

Supporting new employees into the team

Assisting in recruitment and selection of staff when necessary

Have experience of supervising a team

Be used to working in large teams of people in a busy environment

Have a friendly, approachable personality, with a good work ethic

Be flexible to undertake a range of tasks if necessary

Be able to communicate with different types of people; including patients, visitors, senior managers and other departments
