About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supervisor to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a large team who are responsible for cleaning of wards and general areas, regenerating and serving food to our patients during mealtimes, serving hot drinks, and collecting clinical and non-clinical waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of staff in line with Trust policies and procedures, including absence, annual leave, and performance.
  • Complete relevant checklists and other paperwork related to the role.
  • Support new employees into the team.
  • Assist in recruitment and selection of staff when necessary.

Requirements

  • Good standard of education in GCSE or equivalent level.
  • Management qualification level 3 or equivalent experience and willingness to undertake the apprenticeship level 3.
  • Experience in cleaning and/or catering, including previous experience supervising/managing staff.
  • Knowledge of National Cleaning Standards and how they are monitored.
