We are currently looking for a Yard Manager to join our team in Dundee, IL.

Core responsibilities is supervising yard operations, organizing yard, can coordinate with superintendents, mechanics and others to ensure that equipment is ready for dispatch and are executed efficiently.

This successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Three (3) years general outside yard operation management or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of managing resources and efficiencies
  • Managing all movement of equipment within the yard (load and unload equipment, and material)
  • Class A CDL
  • Experience using Loader and Fork Lift.
  • Responsible for enforcing and fostering a safe work environment that is compliant with state and federal DOT guidelines
  • Implement safety initiatives
  • Proficient use of computer to manage workflow (Gmail, Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and people skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be organized
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand; walk; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl.
