Treasury Analyst - £37 per hour inside ir3- Central London - Hybrid (2 days in the office a week) - one stage virtual interview - Sector: Green Technology


Yolk recruitment is recruiting for a Treasury Analyst (back office) to work with a leading manufacturing client advancing state of the art green technology and key material science.

The is an exciting opportunity to working a small team unit that are supporting a treasury transformation strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily reconciliation of all Group Treasury bank accounts and money market fund accounts; ensuring all cash book entries posted accurately
  • Perform daily reconciliation of the FX position and highlighting differences to the Group Treasury
  • Ensure all FX deal confirmations are matched in Misys and IT2 is updated
  • Contacting Bank/IT if bank statements have not been received to ensure IT2 has all bank statements uploaded
  • Confirm all long form deals and NDF that cannot be matched in Misys with banks and record in IT
  • Agree all deals dealt 'outside of the net' with banks, prior to payments being made
  • Agree daily netting / settlements with dealing counterparties
  • Monitor payment ACK/NAK and resolve any NAKs
  • Instruct the commitment of monthly intercompany payments using IT2 and setting up repetitives associated with these payments as required
  • Maintain IT2 look up table for cash book entries

Core Skills:

  • Member of the ACT or fully qualified accountant (ACA).
  • Strong Corporate Treasury background/knowledge and previous front office experience in dealing, daily funding/cash management, cash forecasting and FX management experience and familiarity with local banking and cash management rules and regulations.
  • Experience with local banking and cash management rules and regulations.
  • Strong systems skills e.g. Treasury Management System. Familiar with front and backoffice processes, systems and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of risk, controls and processes

  • Experience within a small team environment
