The role will be based in Reading working a part of the PMC team, managing, reviewing and supporting technical input into the design and procurement activities being conducted by the EPC contractors on the project.

# Advise the Discipline manager / Chief C&I Engineer of any major slippages and their causes, all policy matters, major technical problems and unresolved differences with other Groups, and requests for changes by the Client which may constitute a contract change
# Prepare, review and provide technical input into project deliverables to the required quality standards in conformance with or better than, the approved budget and programme
# Site visits and site surveys
# Supplier, vendor, contractor, client and site related discussions
# Factory acceptance testing, integration testing, SATs and commissioning of analyser systems
Engineering Degree
Field Instruments and Control System background experience
Experienced with Detail Design - Modifications projects
Experience in a similar role within the contractor environment is essential
Prior experience reviewing and approving Engineering Deliverables
Capability to deliver major projects from specification through hardware and instrumentation design, control, safety and fire and gas applications design and definition to networking and interface solutions using multiple different DCS and SCADA / PLC solutions
Experience of working with various communication networks, such as Profibus, DeviceNet, Modbus RTU / TCP, EtherNet / IP etc.
