About the Role
RHACC currently has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced tutor.

As an established member of staff, you will be part of our teaching team who deliver our Access to Higher Education:
Policing course for the academic year 2023/2024. This is a term time role only.

About You


You will be a fully qualified police officer (not currently practising as such necessarily) who has teaching qualifications at Level 4 or above or is willing to undergo teacher training and who ideally has teaching experience in further and adult education or generally.


Working closely with the Programme Manager for Education and Training, you will be assigned to plan, deliver, and assess a range Policing units such as 'Principles of Conducting a Police Investigation' and 'Communication Skills in a Police Service Setting'.

You will plan and deliver high quality learning programmes to deliver all the Policing units on the course and that meet the needs of all learners.

The role involves responsibility for the management of learners' coursework via an online learning platform.

You will complete standard quality assurance tasks related to course planning and management, learner attendance and punctuality, learner progression, assessment, and evaluation.

You will be invited to attend regular 1:1 and team meetings. You may also assist with learner recruitment processes.
