Your Role:

At Asda, the health and wellbeing of customers is the top priority, always putting them first by providing high quality patient care. Due to extended service contracts with the NHS, a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of minor eye conditions is delivered. Responsibilities include screening patients, coaching and training the team, and maintaining department standards. Asda is dedicated to providing Optometrists with extensive training and support to meet customers' eye care needs. Access to training programs and support is readily available from in store, regional, and home office teams.

About You:

Collaborating with an Optical Manager, you will contribute to an environment that combines clinical and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include coaching, training, and developing new patient services to meet customer needs. Requirements include being a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC, registered performer with the NHS area team or health board, accreditation, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

When applying for any Optical position, GOC registration and Right To Work in the UK are mandatory. Compliance involves providing evidence of being on the NHS performer list, clinical references, and accreditation.
