Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
  • Perform physical labour, including lifting heavy materials and operating machinery (training dependant)
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
  • Support skilled tradespeople such as joiners and bricklayers
  • Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong work ethic, enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Certification in construction safety procedures
  • Experience operating heavy machinery
  • Knowledge of basic joinery or masonry techniques
